Origins Parkour
Добавлен 21 мар 2012
"ORIGINS" is Vancouver's first and only facility dedicated to parkour training. We are centrally located on Main and 10th, just a block away from major bus stops. This gym was designed and built by the same people that use it -- that means that all 10,000 square feet of the facility is full of structures and equipment that are specialized and of the highest quality. In addition to parkour, we also feature programs for tricking, flips, and strength and conditioning. Give us a shout if you want to make some big moves!

Resilient - Teaser (Parkour Film)
Просмотров 7006 месяцев назад
The long talked about project from René Scavington. It took me years to prepare, execute, and coordinate filming for each line in this project. Filmed entirely in Vancouver, I (mostly) sought out lines that I considered to be “actual parkour”, or more specifically; straight lines doing difficult parkour techniques that are definitely faster than just running around. The good ones are hard to fi...

Did you manage to fully recover from the micro fracture?
Did you watch the video?
@@originsparkour yes I did but it says nothing about your recovery? If you have managed to recover 100% please let me know because I recently had a micro fracture myself in my patella
This thing was very usefull Thanks
Superior breakdown of movement/teaching technique
damn, storror got up in here? I need to step up my abilities. tomorrow, training.
Hey i'm in bellingham. You move real nice. I wanna train with you. I like the fast efficient style. I desire to move better. You got any tips for me?

It was the best one
How distance is this gap? (Imax 2)
Thank you for this video. Back when I used to do this stuff 20 years ago, the people I tried learning from insisted that you are supposed to land on your shoulder. Sebastien Foucan was even with us once and he said to land on the shoulder first. It made no sense. I always used my hands and forearm as the first point of contact and it just made sense. Nice to know it was right to trust what felt better to me.
Hey brother found your micro fracture vids and they were awesome!! So glad to see you’re still doing what you love. How’s the knee holding up?
Yay, I can do that, give me a band.
That's right! Gamify that b***! ❤
orange and red next pls ♥
Working on it!
Love you guys for making content like this ❤
Great Tutorial! I had never tried the Kong because I was always sure I would faceplant and bust my teeth out. But I had never heard of, nor seen the Ground Kong progression either. I am going to start working on this now.
Santa 😂😂

This is wonderful! So stoked to watch this. And inspiring to see you still pushing yourself and still in love with parkour. I'm 34 years old and closing in on 17 years of training myself. So I'm particularly encouraged by this video. Hope to train with you one day. Much respect.
Inspiration!!!!!! Siuuu
Loved it! So cool to staying true to your vision of parkour while also expanding your style.
So many more styles to expand still! haha
The LEGEND continues! Appreciate all you do in this world bro! Inspiring work as always ❤🔥

Aww thanks Max.
Huge inspiration Thanks Rene!
This is so inspiring René. Cheers to 20 years of parkour. RESpect. 🔥
Brought a smile to my face the entire time! Huge inspiration
XD Thanks Dom!
why do ppl wipe their shoes beffor doing parkour ?
It helps to remove anything (such as dust, chalk, or moisture) that might get in between the rubber sole of their shoes and the surface they are jumping from or landing on. Basically trying to ensure maximal grip.
jaaahahaha
damn.. daaamnnn.. DAAAAAMNN...! .. think you dropped this --> 👑
It was a big year :)
Awesome tutorial, Thanks so much guys!!!
So sick dude. Such lovely smooth movement as always. I love the choice of Aesop Rock as well.

Big moves man. Nearing 20 myself and hoping to move even half as good as this.
